from now on, i'll be using this blog exclusively—cuz it's so pretty, hahahaha— and the xanga will still be around for archival purposes. and for berna to comment on it! hahahahaha...

so since this is the blog... might as well fill in the space with what has happened since last week...

PANGASINAN OLD WIVES' TALE # 146
the fam celebrated the august birthdays last saturday. and my auntie, the designated party animal at all our gatherings, takes my left hand and smushes it. then she takes my right hand and does the same thing. then she takes a look at my leg. at this point i'm half wondering what is she doing... and half thinking it must be pretty late cuz she's usually not this weird until the bbq has been going on for a couple of hours. and then she says something to me in pangasinan. uh... what? the only words in pangasinan i know is that one phrase they always say when you did something bad. my auntie says it again, and asks my cousin sitting next to me to help her convey this discovery she's just made by looking at my hands and legs. my cousin then has this face that tells me, "oh, man... i didn't need to know THAT!" and so i ask him... what did she say?

he says, "auntie said that your thing is plumpy." my thing? "yeah... you know... down there?" OH! that thing.

THE MULTIPLE JOB LIFE
my life as a so-called overachiever will be over very soon. thank goodness... i'm looking forward to rolling out of bed at mid-morning. hahaha... like i wasn't doing that already!

MOVIES!
i saw superbad and war this week. i'm also the proud owner of the hot fuzz dvd. i also got blades of glory, but i haven't found the time to watch it.

maybe tomorrow... cuz i'm off at big navy... YAY!
